MSV Duisburg is one of Germany’s most historic football clubs, founded in 1902 and recognized as a founding member of the Bundesliga. Known as the “Zebras” for their blue and white stripes, the club has built more than 120 years of football tradition and is home to legends such as Bernhard Dietz, Bachirou Salou, and Ewald Lienen.

In December 2015, Capelli Sport, a division of GMA Group, partnered with MSV Duisburg through an ownership stake in the club. The investment marked the first opportunity for outside investment in MSV Duisburg’s decorated history.

As part of the partnership, Capelli Sport supported the development of the club’s youth academy system, including financing a new youth locker room and functional building at the youth talent development center. Capelli Sport continues to support the club by providing apparel and equipment, strengthening the partnership both on and off the field.
