Cedar Stars Academy was founded by George Altirs in 2011 with the goal of providing young players with high-level coaching, facilities, and support. What began as a small but ambitious club has grown into one of the premier youth soccer development programs in the United States.

Today, Cedar Stars Academy serves more than 2,500 male and female players across multiple divisions and continents. The academy is known for creating a professional, respectful, and competitive environment where athletes can develop both on and off the field.

Through partnerships with leading youth soccer organizations, including U.S. Soccer Development Academy and MLS NEXT, Cedar Stars Academy provides players with access to some of the highest levels of youth competition. These platforms help showcase top talent to national team programs, professional pathways, and collegiate opportunities.

Cedar Stars Academy continues to focus on elite player development through professional training, strong facilities, and participation in competitive leagues such as EDP, NPL, NEPAL, NJYS, and MLS NEXT. Its mission remains centered on developing quality soccer players while teaching discipline, respect, teamwork, and valuable life lessons.
